King's Humanities 298M

From sound to cinematography to mise-en-scène, directors and their film crews work together to create the visual rhetoric for film. For Ms. King's HUM 298M (Classic Movies Series) course, students were responsible for producing a ThingLink that discusses how filmmakers construct meaning through the visual rhetoric of a film of their choice. Please click on the icons on each student's film poster to access each digital project. Our class hopes that you enjoy learning more about these films, and we hope that the next time you watch a film that you think about the artistry and rhetoric that filmmakers use.
