Exploration and Discovery

"...to boldly go where no man (or woman) has gone before..."

This statement from Captain James T. Kirk on the television series Star Trek became synonymous with the idea of exploration of strange new worlds. And although Kirk's Starship Enterprise sought out the new worlds in space, people everywhere can seek out 'strange new worlds' in the everyday items and places around them.  Join the Jefferson State Digital Museum for its last collective presentation this fall as classes, faculty, and student organizations present projects surrounding the theme of "EXPLORATION and DISCOVERY."  Click on the subjects, or content areas, in the links to the left to view all the projects.  If you are new to the museum, browse the archives as well!
