From iconic films and plays telling of the peculiar, to conspiracy theories and literary fiction about odd people or suspicious events, and finally to biological mysteries and wonders of the world, idiosyncrasies are all around. This semester's museum delves into the wonders and mysteries around us. We invite you to join JSCC students and instructors in an investigation of the "peculiar" in this semester's virtual museum!
This picture was created by Kyle Sullivan for the locally produced film, Garden of the Gods, whose screenplay was written by Jefferson State English instructor Katie Boyer and filmed by Screen Door Pictures. The film is a modern-day parody of Edgar Allan Poe's short story "The Cask of Amontillado," and definitely represents the mysterious and odd nature of revenge! This picture is used with permission.
