Familiar with Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children book by Ransom Riggs or movie of the same name directed by Tim Burton?  Well, this spring semester, Mrs. Kitchens' American Literature class read Tales of the Peculiar, another one of Riggs' novels of collected short stories about children with peculiar abilities. In the class projects, students examined different character peculiarities and how the characters or events in the characters' stories reflect modern-day life events, songs, and movies.  Join Mrs. Kitchens' class as they share their thoughts on the peculiar characters in the stories they investigated.
