Imagine you are in your junior or senior year of high school, and you are still not sure what you want to do for a career; maybe you have been taking culinary classes at your high school and think this is the direction you want to take. Your teacher tells you about a Culinary Explorers program at Jefferson State Culinary Hospitality Institute. You think what a great idea to learn more before leaving high school!  You will not only learn more about cooking and some life/career skills, but you will also learn about customer service, team building, networking, and soft skills. Sounds like fun and a way to dig deeper into a career. The idea of exploring careers is not something new; in fact, the Culinary Explorers has been around for over 10 years at Jefferson State.
