Mrs. Warren's goal is to encourage learning in creative ways. Her students do a variety of activities that stimulate different parts of the brain, including creative writing and graphic design projects. The Pioneer Players' Moving Museum was created last year for PioneerCon and made a resurgence this year at that celebration on both campuses. Bearing in mind the theme of "Discovery and Exploration," students chose a character - real or fictional, dead or living - and researched that character. They then dressed as and "became" that person for PioneerCon, during which passersby could stop and ask them questions about the person they were portraying. Not only did the actors learn about their characters, but so did the audience members. I bet you didn't know who invented chocolate chip cookies, but if you went to PioneerCon, you do now!
