Smarthinking is available to all Jefferson State English and Math students.  View the brochure for additional information.

Smarthinking's tutors work with students online using a virtual whiteboard.  Students can also submit questions offline at anytime and a tutor will respond within 24 hours.

Writing Tutors

Writing Tutoring Schedule for Current Semester

Tutoring by qualified instructors for writing [for any course, not just English courses] is available at the Shelby - Hoover and Jefferson Campuses.  Students can also meet for a 30-minute writing consultation, working one-on-one with a writing coach for any writing assignment in a JSCC course.
