Computer Labs for Student Use

Open Computer Labs

The college provides open computer labs for student use at all four campuses.  Each lab is networked and has Internet access and printing.

Jefferson Campus

  • Ruby Carson Hall 120
    • Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
    • Friday from 8 a.m. – Noon
  • Learning Resource Center, Allen Library Building [top floor]
    • Ten networked computers for student use are available in the Jefferson LRC during library hours.

Shelby Campus

  • Health Science Building 451
    • Monday – Thursday from 8 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.
    • Friday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • General Studies Building
    • The Learning Resource Center at the Shelby Campus has a networked computer lab with 22 computers and networked printer.  The lab is open during library hours.

St. Clair Campus

  • Learning Resource Center
    • The St. Clair LRC has five networked computers for student use; available during library hours.
    • Second Floor: an open computer lab is available on the second floor of the St. Clair Campus Building; hours vary - contact the main office at (205) 812-2700.

Chilton Campus

  • Learning Resource Center
    • The Chilton LRC has fourteen networked computers for student use; available during library hours.
    • Second Floor Rooms 201 and 205 are open computer labs; the labs are open anytime the building is open; hours may vary - contact the main office at (205) 280-8200.
