Scholarship Application Information
Adult College Services awards scholarship funds based on economic need and satisfactory academic progress.
To apply for an Adult College Services Scholarship, you must complete the following:
- Complete the Certification of Address which includes the submission of proof of address.
- Submit your Federal tax return for the previous year.
- Submit an essay explaining your desire for the scholarship and how receiving it will help you.
- All links are to complete these tasks are provided below.
- Certification of AddressPlease follow this link to submit a certification of your address. Be prepared to up load a copy of one of the following: mail from Jefferson State Community College; a utility bill, credit card or store account statement; or current home or apartment rental agreement.
- Federal Tax ReturnFollow this link to upload a PDF copy of your last year's Federal Tax Return.
- Household IncomePlease follow the link to complete the required form for grant reporting purposes.
- Scholarship Essay SubmissionWrite a short essay in which you tell us about yourself, your past that brought you here, your academic and career goals, and how receiving this scholarship will help you. Follow this link to submit your essay. The document must be in a Word or PDF format.
