The New Options Program is designed to support non-traditional students single(25 or older); married/divorced/widowed; single parent; or GED recipient. If you are beginning college for the first time or re-entering college after an interruption in your education, we can help! Program seminars provide information, guidance and referrals to non-traditional students who are thinking about attending college, going to work or changing jobs. During the seminars, participants explore educational and career opportunities and enhance their self–confidence.
The New Options Program office is located in 301 Fitzgerald Student Center on the Centerpoint Campus of Jefferson State.

The Textbook Lending Library helps New Options participants meet their needs for high-cost college textbooks. The New Options textbook loan program is for students who have attended a seminar and who are active in the program. Students may borrow textbooks for their classes each semester that they attend.
