UWRITE

All proposals for the 2025 conference are in and currently being considered for presentation.  Check back again next year for calls for UWRITE 2026

The UWRITE Committee is currently seeking proposals for presentation sessions for the English Department's June 6, 2025 UWRITE Professional Development Conference at the Shelby Campus Judy Merritt Building. Proposals should involve topics of pedagogy for composition, literature, dual enrollment, or involve topics of general interest relevant to teaching in English or cross-curricular ventures. Sessions will run 45 minutes in length, so topics should cover 30-35 minutes of discussion with 5-10 minutes of Q&A to follow, and presenters should provide handouts/materials for their presentations, if applicable.  The UWRITE committee will collect handouts from presenters virtually for post-conference retrieval as well. 

• Please submit proposals by Friday, May 2. 
• Presenters will be notified of topic acceptance by May 9.
