The Open Resources for Nursing program, hosted by Chippewa Valley Technical College and funded in part by the Department of Education, is creating open access textbooks for nursing. As of 2021, they have books on pharmacology, nursing skills, and nursing fundamentals with more to come.
Hosted by the University of Minnesota, Open Textbook Library provides access to almost a thousand open textbooks in a variety of subjects. More textbooks are in development, so if you don't see what you need, check back again soon.
AVL OER Commons
The Alabama OER Commons is a place for Alabama educators, students, and the general public to find and share free educational resources.
We aim to bring together in one location some of the most useful OER textbooks and other materials available, and also to provide a central location for OER that are “made in Alabama” - original creations, as well as OER that have been adapted or remixed to fit the needs of Alabama students and residents.
