Introduction to the Libraries

The resources and services provided by the JSCC Libraries are available to all JSCC students, regardless of status [full time, part time, fast track, skills training, other].  All Workforce Education students are provided with the same access to our resources as "for credit" students.

All library resources and services are available online via our main website!

Our resources and services are delivered by a state-of-the-art web platform and associated apps created by Springshare.  These tools include the following:

• LibGuides CMS:  fully customizable content management platform [website] for creating, curating, and managing content and resources
• LibWizard:  Forms, Quizzes, Tutorials, Surveys for feedback and assessment over a secure connection
• LibAnswers: LiveChat, Knowledge Base, Ticketing System; Embed LibChat and "Ask Us" widgets into any webpage, manage all social media communication, and create FAQs with a powerful ticketing system; detailed statistics provided
• LibCal:  Appointments, Events, Calendars:  integrated solution for event management and registration; dynamic appointments scheduling; detailed statistics provided
